My Poetry Manuscript’s Success in Prestigious Awards

I recently learned my poetry manuscript The Beautiful Winding was long-listed for the  2026 Terry J. Cox Poetry Award (second time in two years) and received Honorable Mention in Passager’s 2026 Henry Morgenthau III First Book Poetry Prize, and that one of my poems, We Didn’t Murder All the Lovely Girls, was short-listed for the National Poetry Society of the UK Awards (the competition attracted over 21,200 entries from over 9,500 poets from 113 different countries worldwide.).

Also, since my last post my poem Hunter and Me was long-listed for the 2025 Fish Publishing Poetry Prize, a prize I’ve been short-listed for in the past. The poem chronicles the uncanny synchronicity I’ve had with Hunter College through my life, which started from the time I was in grade school. I’ll post the poem here, once it is published.
